Devotional Materials

The chaplains' office also provides various devotional materials for patients, families, and staff. We feel it is important to encourage spiritual health, and providing devotional materials is one way we do this. Currently we have "Our Daily Bread", a daily devotional; "Light and Life Magazine," a bi-monthly magazine focusing on discipleship; and "Guidepost," an inspirational magazine. These materials are placed in the hospital chapel and are available to all patients and guests.

Advance Directives

As a courtesy service, Deaconess Hospital chaplains and social workers offer education regarding the Oklahoma Advance Directive for healthcare form. Our staff will explain the use of this document, its purpose, and how to fill it out. Anyone may request this service -- you need not be a patient or family member. Advance directive forms are available from the chaplains' office and are free of charge to the public.
