Laboratory Services

Laboratory and pathology services are provided by a dedicated team of professionals supported by current technology and a skilled technical staff.

Deaconess Hospital’s laboratory performs over two million tests each year for hospital inpatients, outpatients, and outreach clients located throughout Oklahoma. Accredited by The College of American Pathologists, the Deaconess Laboratory has more than 40 professionals on staff to serve patients’ needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The new 7,000 square-foot clinical laboratory and histology/cytology departments are located on the second floor of the hospital in the new west wing. The clinical laboratory performs testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, transfusion services, and point-of-care testing.
