Since our beginnings in 1900, Deaconess Hospital has had one mission: To serve the health care needs of our community with excellence and Christian compassion. As one of the oldest healthcare providers in Oklahoma, our legacy of caring extends beyond statehood and throughout generations of Oklahomans.
Deaconess Hospital is a 291-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) located in northwest Oklahoma City. Our medical staff of 550 physicians is committed to providing the highest quality of care in every major specialty. The 1,325 employees that comprise the Deaconess clinical and support staff are consistently ranked among the best in the nation for patient care and customer satisfaction.
We care for every patient entering our facility, regardless of race, gender, age, or financial status. Our determination to treat the whole person, not just the disease, has lead to some pretty impressive accomplishments throughout our 110-year history.

Our commitment to the community extends beyond the immediate care received at Deaconess. The hospital, our staff and our volunteer auxiliary contribute to the community through sponsorships, donations, and time spent volunteering for organizations such as the Arthritis Foundation, the American Heart Association, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Schools for Healthy Lifestyles, and the United Way, among others. Deaconess employees can be further found in the community promoting healthy lifestyles, conducting health screens, providing educational forums, and working with area businesses to boost knowledge on health related issues.
